Pretty Spring Packaging | Angela

Ladies, I had so much fun making these pretty little packages!  One of my most favorite things to do is to gift treats to family, friends, and neighbors.  I made these to package up some scripture cards and supplies for a few of my bible journaling friends.  The possibilities are endless. They would be great to pass out at bible studies, as hostess gifts, a “thank you” gift for a friend, or how about surprise happy mail to brighten someone’s day?

Supplies Needed:

Kraft paper sacks
Ribbon
Stamps
Ink
Stamp block
Hole punch
Scissors (not pictured)
Doilies
Free printable pennants (I found these at “livelaughrowe” along with this great packaging idea.  “Free Pretty Things for You” is also a great source for free pennants)

20170413_190819-1Once you’ve gathered your supplies it’s time to start!  Cut out your pennants and then decide on the stamps you would like to use.  I chose to do two different messages.  “Love your heart” is great for a friend or as a thank you gift.  And “Love the Lord” would be perfect for women’s studies.  Again, so many possibilities!  The stamp that inspired this project was that sweet little flower.  I love how it looks on the kraft bag.  And then lastly, I decided to go with the leaves and flower on the doilies.  Once you have everything stamped then its time to place your goodies in the bag.  Fold over both the top of the bag and a doily.  Punch two holes and then add the ribbon.

I hope you enjoy making these sweet gift bags as much as I did!
I’d love to know if you end of making some and how you use yours.

Blessings,

Angela
