Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Today I’m working in Ezekiel 37 and I’m Bible journaling with the May 2017 Faith Art Box. You can find the video tutorial for this page over on the Creative Retreat YouTube channel!
The lyrics from the song, “Awake My Soul” by Chris Tomlin, really inspired this page. There were several passages that I could have added this journaling to but the verses in Ezekiel 37 were the first ones to come to mind.
4 Then He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live”. Ezekiel 37:4-5
Here we see God calling Ezekiel into a vision where he shows him how the breath of God will restore Israel to it’s glory once again.
This is such a great picture of how God can restore our lives even when we feel stuck in a valley. The Word of God has such an incredible ability to lift me up and give me encouragement during times of trials.
“Speak to me, word of God, speak to me
I come alive, I’m alive when you speak to me”
So spend some time in your Bible and let the breath of God breathe on you.
