You Made Me Clean | Bible Journaling with Deeds

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.  And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.”
Ezekiel 36:25-27

It’s a glorious thing!  Being clean is a wonderful thing, and as I sit here and think about God’s goodness in the midst of outright defiance… well… I’m moved.  I’m moved to pray.  I’m moved to confess.  I’m moved to sing, and I’m moved to worship.  And, I’m pretty sure that’s the point! 🙂

I’m glad that God had purposes and plans for the nation of Israel; and I’m SUPER glad that He gave us so much to read and think about, using them as an example.  The heart of God has always been the same toward the Israelites; toward Christians; toward the world!  Trust.  Obey.  Worship.

God wants our hearts full of worship for him, and only Him.  Our lives are a mix-match of problems and issues, both inside and out.  The point of Jesus’ coming into the world, and the point of His life and death, still are to move us to see God for who He is, what He has done for us, and respond appropriately.

This sweet and precious Lord who wants so badly to commune with His creation, has made it ever possible to do so because of His love, His commitment, His cleansing.  If we could see how much He’s done in our hearts – how far He’s brought our weary, dirty soul – our worship would be that much greater!

The process video for this bible journaling entry is found here.  I’m praying that you find it encouraging and inspiring, drawing you to spend time with your Father, and create for His glory!

Much Love,
