“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33 NLT

When I hear the words “take heart”, I hear it as ‘don’t worry’, ‘don’t lose hope’, ‘have courage’, ‘don’t forget’…
The word “overcome” is defined in the dictionary as a verb, “to gain the victory; win; conquer”.

Jesus overcame the world, so we don’t have to worry.
He has already won the battle against the enemy, Satan, so we can be courageous in how we live and in how we seek Christ.
Jesus conquered sin, so we have hope.
Take heart! Jesus is our Savior ❤
He has won.

This page was so simple and fun to make! I used the globe from the June printable (available for members of the Creative Retreat Insiders Group on facebook – come join us!), I cut it out, and colored it in with Gelatos Translucents Persimmon and Translucents Lychee, which just so happen to match the June kit perfectly! I used the texture stamp from the same kit to fill in parts of the land in the globe, and guys, I love how it turned out! I laid the globe over the bow and added the stickers and another stamp from this kit to create my title. I thought it could use a little something more, so I made little crosses with some highlighter washi and voila!
As always, if you want more inspiration for how you can use the monthly kits, keep checking back here on the blog! And follow the Creative Retreat instagram account while you’re at it! And you can follow my insta account at LittleLewCreates 🙂
