Bible Journaling with Colleen | To Be Known By

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

Matthew 7:15‭-‬20 ESV

Take notice of the people around you. What fruits do you see in their lives? Are they producing the fruits of the spirit? Love, Joy, peace, etc? How would you describe their character? Where do they spend most of their time? What do they talk about most?

These are some questions that I think would be good to step back and evaluate who you are surrounded with and who is leading you.

I want to live my life in a way that I am recognized for the good fruit in my life. This shouldn’t be for self glory. This should be because I have understood that the very thing I want to live for, the person most important to me is God. Because if my life reflects good fruit, it’s pursuing Christ. Not perfectly. But enough to be known by them.

Take time to think about the people in your life where you see good fruits growing… would you go and tell them today? Encourage them. Speak life today. 💜

ART TALK
I used the distress oxides for the background, and I stamped the fruits around to create the border. Used the stickers and stamps for the words – pick up your July Faith Art Box here.

Blessings,
Colleen
