Good Fruit | Bible Journaling with Cece

Fruit of LOVE

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of PATIENCE

“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” Colossians‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of FAITHFULNESS

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of GOODNESS

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of PEACE

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of GENTLENESS

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fruit of JOY

“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John‬ ‭15:10-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

May we grow the kind of fruit that is worthy and pleasing to the Lord. 💗💛

For these pages, I first placed down some of the images from the monthly printables. I purposely had some of them go off the page to give it more interest. Next, I cut out the word stickers that I had scanned and printed (because I had already used them all up for a different entry) and placed them down to replace the days of the week which were originally on the page. Then I used some of the stamps and enamel stickers that came with the kit to fill up some of the white space. Last, I picked a few of the fruit of the HOLY SPIRIT and looked up verses for each one in my planner.

I’m Cece and I’ve been journaling for about a year and a half now. You can find me on Instagram to follow my progress or on YouTube for some process videos.

Also, don’t forget to check out this kit in the shop and join the Creative Retreat Kits’ Insiders Group to get your free printable, that coordinates with the kit, each month.

  1. Good morning, Cece. It’s nice to see your journaling in a faith planner. I am always tempted by the idea of using a planner for scripture writing, but I have yet to give it a try. I like how you pulled a variety of scripture for each of the fruits. It all fits so beautifully on the spread. Placement of the art looks great, and boy is your handwriting neat! Thanks so much for sharing.
