What makes us strong? Is it exercise; food; vitamins, or were we naturally born strong? We are constantly looking for ways to be strong not only physically but also emotionally. For some reason we easily forget that even in our weaknesses God finds His way to make us strong so that His name can be glorified. Paul said in 2 Cor. 12:9:
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
I used to struggle trying to deal with my weaknesses because I understood that exposing them would only make me weak and vulnerable to those who considered me as their leader. What I didn’t realize was that I was becoming a slave of my own lie.
God doesn’t makes us weak; He makes us strong in Him. He doesn’t wants to embarrass us; He wants us to always remember that we need Him; that with our own strength we will not make it far.
Don’t limit yourself because of your weaknesses, but let God show His wonderful power through you, and may the world see that He is Great and Powerful. May our weaknesses glorify Him always!
