As I write today’s blog, I can not deny that I’ve been having some days of struggles. Old memories and thoughts have been surfing around my mind. Things of my past that I’m not proud of; old lies that I believed, and memories of my past that constantly tells me I am not worthy. Reminding them brings me no joy, but instead sadness, shame, and weakness. Like Lauren Daigle says in her song “You Say,” “I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough”.
So many thoughts; so many questions , and so many inner debates that the enemy wants us to have so he can make us believe that we have no help in our weakness. But is it true that we don’t have no one that can rescue us and make us strong?A couple of days ago I was hearing Lauren’s song and a verse caught my attention. She sang: “You say I am strong when I think I am weak” Those were the words that described how I was feeling at that time. Have you ever had the experience of hearing a song and identifying with what is saying? It reminded me what the Lord says in His Holy Word in 2 Corinthians 12:9:
“Each time the Lord said, My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
There is no person who knows better about our struggles than God. But still sometimes we choose to believe in the lies of the enemy. Every time we believe in his lies we take 5 steps away from God.
Think about this: If living our lives close to God is hard, imagine how much harder it can be living it away from God. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says: Each time! God knows we will struggle so many times, but for each time His power is in action. I don’t know what kind of struggles you are going thru in you life but I pray that His power works in your life and in mine in a way never seen before.
If today you feel weak I encourage you to go to God and lay it all at His feet. Embrace His love and decide to believe everything that comes from Him and His Word.
May God keep blessing you abundantly!
