Bible Journaling with Lew | Made For Me, To Serve Our King.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
     Ephesians 2:10 NLT

We are made to fulfill our purpose in  this life.

God created us intentionally to be who we are in order to fulfill our calling, and He equips us daily to provide for us what we need to live out that calling (wisdom, grace, strength, peace, etc). We’re all a work in progress, and this side of heaven will most likely not come to full fruition.

But we can find peace in this: God created us intentionally and uniquely, and He has called each of us to be who He created us as individuals to be. He doesn’t call us to be someone other than who He designed us to be.

There will always be growth, and a need to develop our character. This is not an excuse to sit in sin and say, “Well, God made me this way”. No, no, no. We still need His grace as we fumble through life and have our rough edges smoothed down by His refining grace.

But you were created to be uniquely you, and no one else. To fulfill YOUR  role in life and purpose in Christ, no one else’s. You are a daughter of the King, created anew in Christ to do the good things He planned for YOU long ago.

Hey all! So this week has been crazy as I’ve been repainting and organizing my craft room. I’m really bummed because our printer is offline and stashed in another room, so I wasn’t able to print out this month’s free corresponding printables. They’re so cute!  Since I couldn’t print them out, I decided to recreate similar shapes with coordinating colors using Gelatos. I used stamps from the Christ Lord stamp set to fill in the shapes and to add more detail & pattern. It turned out a little busier than I wanted, so I covered some of the crazy with my title and the word stickers from this month’s kit 🙂 I chose words that describe me and who I believe God has created me to become (still a work in progress!). I finished my page with the cute little tab sticker from this kit. I put some washi tape on the back of it to cover the sticky 🙂

As always, friends, find more encouragement and inspiration by following Creative Retreat on instagram. And you can follow me on instagram here 🙂

And don’t forget to join our facebook group, where you can share your posts, see how others are using their kits, and get free corresponding printables each month!

Gelatos used: Buttercream, Aqua Dolce, Satelite
