Big & Bold | Bible Journaling with Cece

If you knew me in person, you’d know that I’m really timid and quiet. I remember my church pastor used to always pray boldness over me. It’s just who I am. But God works in us daily and is changing us for His glory. You’d think after believing in Him for all these years and seeing Him work miracle after miracle in my life that I’d learn to trust Him and His love for me, right? But, I’m human and I am flawed.

When was the last time you went boldly before the throne of grace and asked for something big? How many mountains have you wanted Him to move in your life? How many of you have prayed big, bold prayers for jobs, houses, illnesses, family, and friends? How many of you don’t know how? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

I am convinced that one of the ways the Holy Spirit helps us for those times when we do not know what to pray for is by giving us a Bible filled with words of truth and promises. When I pray the Word of God with my Bible open and let prayer rise from reading God’s Word, my faith is strengthened. When my faith is strengthened, boldness follows. God is who He says He is. He always keeps His promises and accomplishes all that He sets out to do. I pray that you can come boldly before God and trust that He is able to work out everything for you and for your good. May this be a reminder that we love and serve and great, big God and that with Him all things are possible.
