Bible Journaling with Cece | Standing Firm on God’s Promise

There comes a time in all of our lives when we need to rely on what God says in His Word. It’s usually a time when we feel like we are losing hope, or our faith’s been shaken, or we are so bruised and broken that we have lost our way. We even wonder where God is through it all. Sometimes the challenges of family, marriage, kids, work, or even our health or financial struggles can weigh the heaviest. It is when we are hit with these kinds of challenges that we need to stand on His promise all the more.

God’s Word is full of promises, and He is not man that He should lie. He keeps every single one of them. I want to share some promises with you. Read each one with all your heart. Read them out loud. Believe in them because they are true. My prayer is that you find hope in His promises and rely on them no matter where you are or what you’re going through today or in the future.

Psalm 31:24 — “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

Isaiah 41:10 — “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 34:4 — “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

Isaiah 26:3 — “You will keep me in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

Matthew 5:4 — “Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

Philippians 4:19 — “And my God shall meet all my needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”

1 John 1:9 — “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins qnd purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Isaiah 54:17 — “No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refuse every tongue that accesses you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Romans 8:28 — “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.”

His promises are there for reassurance, comfort, strength, faith, and getting to know God, His heart for us, and His character. He loves us and cares for us deeply.

I created this rainbow by using whatever scrap paper I had in my stash. After cutting it to size and putting one on top of another, I put it through the sewing machine. I decorated the rest of the tag using stamps and stickers from this month’s kit. Loved how it turned out and such a beautiful reminder that He keeps His promises no matter what.

Thank you for dropping by.  I’m Cece and I’ve been Bible journaling for two years now. You can find me on Instagram to follow my progress or on YouTube for some process videos. Also, don’t forget to check out this kit in the shop and join the Creative Retreat Kits Insiders Group to see how others are using this kit and to also get your free printable for the month!
