Bible Journaling with Heidi: WWJD

Hi friends! I am happy to be back to share my journaling page and my heart behind it. God has been teaching me a lot lately, and what I have to share with you today is one of the many things.

Let’s dive into the Word first. Psalm 19 verses ten and fourteen say : “More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. (…) Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight.”

Wow, what an amazing prayer! We should not only desire sweet words, but our heart should be filled with them too. I am definitely guilty of not always having sweet words in my mouth or heart. I often find myself judging people, without really knowing them. I have a pretty big imagination sometimes, and seem to quickly give them stories. But God looks at the heart, not at the outer appearance (1 Samuel 16:7).

How often do we find ourselves thinking bad things about people? How often do we mumble and complain about our job or school? How often do we judge people without even knowing them? Would you think or say those same things if Jesus was by your side?

Well, He is, friends! He is among us, He is by our side, even if we cannot see Him. Let’s watch our words and thoughts. Let’s pray about them – that they would be acceptable to God.

Remember that acronym that is on key chains and basically everywhere? WWJD – What Would Jesus Do. Did Jesus complain? Never. Did Jesus judge people’s outer/inner appearance? No. He loved them. How about we try to love more and watch our thoughts and words more this week.

Thank you for following along today! You can buy THIS KIT HERE – it is my absolute favorite – and follow me on Instagram @creative4hisglory to see more fun journaling pages and projects I have going on!
