I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.– John 16.33
The world we live in is a broken, flawed place. It became that way when Eve first took a bite of the fruit in the garden of Eden, and it will be that way until Jesus returns. Life is filled with strife and heartache. It will never be easy. All tribulation serves as a good reminder that this is not our home.
We can have peace, even in a life of strife, because we know Jesus has overcome the world. We may experience adversity, but Jesus is greater. When we hand Him our troubles, we can have peace knowing that he will take care of us.
I started this entry by creating a wreath using the branch stamp and ColorBox Chalk ink. I added some pink in the background with pink chalk ink and a dauber. Then I used the stamps, stickers, and alphas to write out my title. I finished with a paint splatter using a black gelato and decorated the wreath with heart stickers.
