“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27
If you look around you, you’ll find that unconsciously, everyone is seeking peace of mind. People around us are blessed with many things such as intelligence, beauty, charm, money, etc. but underneath it all, people have troubled hearts and are suffering from anxiety and depression.
Jesus said that the peace that He gives is not like the peace the world gives. It is inner peace. True and everlasting peace. Peace that is independent of circumstances and only possible when received from Jesus. It’s a peace that comes from having our eyes and hearts focused on Him and not on our circumstances.
Today I pray that you lay down your troubled hearts before Him and allow Him to fill your hearts with peace.
One of my favorite things to do when I get my #faithartbox is to make and create a bookmark to pass on to a friend in need of God’s word over their life. I created this simple bookmark using the decor stickers, alpha stickers, and some of the backing from the devo card. It was easy to put together and fun to give away or to keep and remind myself of His word.
