Bible Journaling with Heidi: CALLED and CHOSEN

Hi friends! I am excited to be back and share this amazing kit with you! I absolutely love this month’s kit, and it comes with washi tape – my favorite!

I didn’t have plans to write this in this blog post, but I felt led to share, so I will! As I mentioned in my last post, I have a huge semester. I have more papers to hand in every week than I have had in my entired life. It has been taking a ton of energy out of me. Today at school, I just started feeling even more overwhelmed than I have in the past few days. I just felt like giving up. I can’t do this, I can’t do this, I can’t do this. I kept thinking about that.

I can’t, but God CAN. He has called and equiped me to this, and I need to trust Him and just keep going. But I need to stop relying on myself only and rely on God.

Esther 4:14 says : “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Did Esther just quit when things got hard? No – she kept going and even risked her life doing it. She was equiped for what she was about to do. The same goes for you and me. If you are going through some difficult times, remember this – God has called and equiped you for this life. And hard times sometimes are just to equip us for harder times. You were created for a purpose! Don’t quit!

I hope you remember this this week when you just feel like quitting. God is there, rely on Him! He has called you to this life, to this purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post today. God has been teaching me a lot in this crazy season, and I need to rely on Him more and more. You can buy this kit here – http://rwrd.io/wkjedmx?c. These kits are amazing and make you get into God’s Word and allow people that don’t have a lot of free time (like me!) to take a few minutes and journal.
