“Whether you drink or eat or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1Corinthians 10:31
”Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
My prayer is that we seek His glory in all that we do and say because that is what we were created for. Most of us are me-centered and we should practice on becoming God-centered. This is something God is teaching my lately and it’s not an easy lesson to learn. Do our feelings and emotions and actions and thoughts and words give Him the glory and honor He deserves? I have had thoughts and feelings this week that are complete opposite of His glory and greatness and that’s because I’m human. But I’ve also learned that when we put our mind, heart, and eyes focused on Him, His greatness, and His love can overshadow to those things and He gives us the grace to overcome and bring Him glory.
Whether you are a wife, or mom, or sister, or teacher, or businesswoman, or caretaker, or writer, or artist, how are you glorifying Him today?
