Bible Journaling with Heidi | Look Up to Him

Hi everybody! I am so glad to be back on the blog with this post! Last week, I was starting to feel very anxious, with finals coming up and so many papers to hand in. We had just gotten a foot of snow that same day, but I decided to go on a prayer walk. I hadn’t done that in a long time, but let me tell you that I felt such a big peace from God, and my anxiety melted away during that time.

I simply walked around my neighborhood, and prayed. Some of it was about me and what’s coming up, but mostly, people popped up into my mind and I prayed for them. At one point, a Casting Crowns song popped into my head, called Praise You in this Storm. (It is an amazing song, please go listen to it!)

The refrain of the song says the following :

And I’ll praise you in this storm
And I will lift my hands
That you are who you are
No matter where I am
And every tear I’ve cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise you in this storm

My first thought was that of Psalm 121:1-2 that says : “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

I immediately felt such a joy! God is my help through every storm, big or small! This end of semester may be ridiculously crazy and stressful, but God is my helper and He will help me get through it.

Friends, I want to encourage us to look up to God when we start feeling anxious or stressed. He is our Helper! And another tip would be to find a song that you can listen to during this season that you are in, a song that will help you to remember to turn to the Lord.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I really hope it is helpful! You can buy this amazing kit here (http://rwrd.io/wkjedmx?c) and follow me on Instagram @creative4hisglory for more Bible journaling pages! Thank you so much for your continued support!
