Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”Matthew 16:13-16
Who do you say that Jesus is? It’s the most important question anyone has ever asked. It shapes your life on this earth and determines your eternal destiny. Peter answers correctly that Jesus is the promised Messiah, God’s Anointed One. Who do you say that he is? Just a thought-provoking moral teacher? Just a small piece of your Sunday morning? Or, can you say, “He is my Lord.”? In my life, he is my salvation, my strength, and my hope.
For this entry, I used the stamps and stickers to write out part of the verse. I highlighted the verses with an chalk ink. I finished the page off with my date stamp.
