Bible Journaling with Leah | My Guide

Isaiah 40:11 says  “He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”

I need this sooo bad! When I am struggling and can’t do it on my own, I am so thankful for the Good Shepherd that will pick me up and carry me through. I don’t have to do it alone. Even when I don’t know what to pray I know God’s got this.

When I was journaling through this passage I was reminded that the Lord my shepherd will be my guide. He will lead me and will restore my soul. I am so thankful that after pouring my heart to God, He not only hears me but actually comforts me. Whether it’s something that may seem small, ( going through a 4 month sleep regression, having patience with your 5 year old while homeschooling, or trying to make sure the almost 2 year old doesn’t fall off the table) God cares and he wants you to pray and ask Him to help guide you. I know we are all struggling in different ways, and many are having a hard time coping with everything going on in the world right now. It’s ok just go to your Shepherd and let Him be your guide.
