Bible Journaling with Heidi | Be Grateful Always

Hi everybody! I am so excited to be back with another post for you! If you’re anything like me, it can be hard for you to give thanks to the Lord, to cultivate a heart of gratitude. I tend to get a little more depressed in the fall and winter, but cultivating a heart of gratitude helps me so much!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says : “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Did you catch that? It is the will of God for us to give thanks. Not only when we feel like it, but in ALL circumstances! I confess that I do not do that. In hard times, I find it a lot easier to grumble and complain than to give thanks to the Lord. So I challenged myself this month to be grateful for at least one thing each day and write it down. What doing this does is, on really hard days, when you feel like everything went wrong, it forces you to think about a good thing. And let me tell you that doing this every day has been so helpful!

I encourage you to give it a try this month, and even next month. Try cultivating a heart of gratitude, and write down something you are grateful for every single day. Even if you feel like your day was all bad. Think about something and write it down! I tell you, it makes a difference! It takes our eyes off of ourselves and turns them to the Lord.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this! I pray that it blesses you. You can find this amazing kit here (http://rwrd.io/wkjedmx?c) – I seriously can’t get enough of the colors in this kit! You can also follw me on Instagram @creative4hisglory for more Bible journaling projects!
