Have you ever heard the song “Praise You in This Storm” by Casting Crowns? (Here is the link if you want to listen to it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YUGwUgBvTU&ab_channel=CastingCrowns)
We are all in the middle of a storm right now, some worse than others. But we are called to praise God in the middle of the storm and remember who God is.
Psalm 95:1-3 says, “Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.“
God is a great God and a great King and He is worthy of our praise, no matter what storm we are in. Sing to Him, make a joyful noise, be grateful. Through every storm.
I encourage you to really take the time to praise God, sing to Him, pray in Thanksgiving this week. If you have been feeling a little more depressed than usual, like I have, this will be so helpful! It helps us take our eyes off of ourselves and onto our great, wonderful, and powerful God.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post today. I hope it encouraged you and that we can take this next step of praise and worship together.
